GPS software
- Can be used to build an address
data base in the field. By using a Garmin
GPS locator and laptop computer,
latitude and longitude of addresses can be obtained and
converted to state plane
coordinates for use by QSTview mapping software. Select the GPS
Dialog button on the left for a view of the dialog box used for input..

Previous Addresses
- The last 25 addresses from PSAP capture and/or keyboard entry are
available
for recall.

New Addresses
- Can be added to the address data base through QSTview maps. Also,
commands allow the entry of up to five lines of information to any address in
the data base.

- Maps can be printed in black and white or in color.

Editing commands
- Allow correction of map entities and addition of text and symbols.

Layer control
- Can be used to control
the amount of information to be displayed on the screen.

Navigation command
- Can provide
bearings and distances between points.
